On May 1, 2006, Rick Reilly wrote about malaria in Sports Illustrated challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 for the purchase of a bed net, which led to the creation of the Nothing But Nets campaign the same year. The PSA is hosted on Nothing But Nets website, which won Best Charitable Organization Nonprofit Web Site for the 11th Annual Webby Awards.

At the time of the 2010 Haiti quake, the United Nations had over 12,000 personnel on the ground. UN agencies faced the difficult transition to aid in the search, rescue and recovery efforts in the country, while confronting major personal losses of friends and colleagues. The PSA shows images of the UN helping Haiti in the time of need.
In February 2010, American Idol winner Kris Allen traveled to Haiti with the UN Foundation to raise further awareness of the country's continuing needs after the earthquake. The PSA was featured on Idol Gives Back website around the time of a special American Idol results show aired on February 25, 2010. Kris Allen performed and shared footage of his emotional trip to raise awareness and funds that will benefit those in need. Join the UN Foundation in helping the UN help Haiti.

New Media Literacies (NML), a research initiative based within USC's Annenberg School for Communication, explores how we might best equip young people with the social skills and cultural competencies required to become full participants in an emergent media landscape and raise public understanding about what it means to be literate in a globally interconnected, multicultural world. The project was presented at the 5th Media in Transition International Conference at MIT and is currently hosted on MIT Tech TV.

Sévres Then And Now: Tradition and Innovation in Porcelain, 1750-2000 is the first exhibition in America to present together the earliest Sèvres pieces alongside the contemporary works of the 20th and 21st centuries, and to explore fully how continuous innovation propelled Sévres to become the preeminent porcelain factory. The video is displayed as part of the exhibition at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens from October 20, 2009 – May 30, 2010. It documents the creation of an historic 18th-century dessert table made of sugar sculpture by food historian and designer Ivan Day.
